Section 01

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) when you visit a website or use a web-based application. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to website operators about how their sites are being used.

Cookies may be session cookies (which expire when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (which remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them). Cookies may also be first-party cookies (set by the website you are visiting) or third-party cookies (set by a different domain from the one you are visiting).

Similar technologies to cookies include web beacons, pixel tags, local storage, and session storage. Where we refer to “cookies” in this Policy, we include all such similar tracking technologies.

Section 02
